ALE expands with new team and strategic office move in the USA

As part of their expansion in the USA, ALE has set up a permanent branch by moving offices to the Houston, I-10 Energy Corridor, and expanded their US operational capability by recruiting additional experienced personnel and investing in the latest heavy lifting and transport equipment.

The investment of a permanent branch in the I-10 Energy Corridor of the city is to better serve US clients. They are also mobilizing a vast array of equipment, such as specialist transporters and a fleet of cranes, including the largest land based crane currently installing modules in South Texas, while still having access to the unique innovations of the ALE Group.

ALE has expanded their US operational capability by complimenting their existing team with new engineers, offshore specialists, a strong sales force with 100 years of combined experience in the industry and personnel focused on national operations. The new team members bring a wealth of knowledge from the USA’s heavylifting industry, where they have established reputations across a broad range of sectors.

“Over the years we have established a reputation for safe and innovative heavylifting. We can now offer a dedicated USA branch, fully focused to the local needs of the market. Unlike our competitors, we are not just an asset provider, but bring an engineering and solutions-driven approach to our clients and their projects,” explained Richard Peckover, Regional Director.

“As the team is securing more medium and large profile jobs, and providing solutions across the Gulf Coast, Texas and Louisiana, there are huge growth potentials and we expect further expansion nationwide. By expanding our presence in the country and solidifying it for the long-term duration, it demonstrates our commitment to our clients in the USA and North American region.”

HeavyTorque White Logo

It is with regret, that the HeavyTorque team have decided to take a stand based on an industry-wide ‘blind eye’ to the waste in the magazine and periodicals business.

HeavyTorque (#15, July 2018) was the final issue to grace the shop shelves, both on the High Street and across the travel network. As part of our onward strategy to adapt, HeavyTorque will now be distributed exclusively through controlled circulation and available through printed subscription.

Please note, this change will only affect newsstand purchasers. There will be no change for our loyal print subscribers.

Why the newsstand change? Quite simply, we can no longer (in good conscience) participate in a distribution programme that creates such an inherent waste of our precious natural resources – and money.

For those of you who have enjoyed HeavyTorque from the newsstand, we sincerely appreciate your business – and we would hope that you’ve enjoyed the magazine enough to consider a direct subscription?

If you prefer to purchase individual issues (one at a time), you will still have the ability to do so, both online (via the website), or by calling our offices +44 (0) 1572 3450872. Orders for single issues received before the pre-publication deadline will be mailed along with the subscribers.
