Faymonville succeeded in shaking up the transport sector in North America. After the HighwayMAX and the DualMAX, the company launched another product: the TeleMAX – a particularly versatile flatdeck semi-trailer, extendable up to four times to a maximum overall length of 210 ft (64m).

Faymonville has a long experience with this trailer type. “We adapted now the pneumatic and the electric system and components of the TeleMAX to the North American DOT Standards. And the non-load bearing pull out permits a longer overhang of the loads” says Paul Hönen, area sales manager. Due to its telescopic loading deck, the TeleMAX is ideally suited for the transport of particularly long or bulky loads and available with 3 or 4 axles. “This trailer is great for the 150′ blade molds that we have had to move for Vestas”, explains Steve Sharp, owner of Sharp Steve Transportation and one of the first US users of this product.

Additionally, its lightweight construction, its great steering angle (55°) and the low loading deck height guarantee optimum manoeuvrability with the highest possible payload. The remote control steering is another user-friendly tool. “The trailer is easy to operate”, comments Steve Sharp about the good handling.

The TeleMAX from Faymonville is equipped with hydraulically steerable axles. The hydraulic support leg allows the easy opening/closing of the trailer and the fully metalized frame (zinc galvanising) ensures the best corrosion protection available on the market. The TeleMAX therefore fulfils all conditions to deliver time- and cost-effective transport service. “With doing work inside of gas plants and for wind farms, it’s been a good investment”, confirms Steve Sharp the choice of a further Faymonville product.

This type of trailer can be viewed and tested at the official US representative and sales agent for Faymonville, Hale Heavy Haul, inc., located in Voorhees, New Jersey.
