DOLL IAA Commercial Vehicles Show

The 65th IAA Commercial Vehicles Fair closed its doors as the industry’s most important international trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics. More than 2,000 manufacturers exhibited their products for eight days and confirmed that the slogan “Driving the Future” can be considered as the leading motto of the whole branch.

The trailers displayed at booth n° N30 proved that also DOLL is about “to drive the future”. With an emphasis put on flexibility and universality as well as the usage of electronics providing easier handling and outstanding precision DOLL showed once again fascinating innovations and thus confirmed its technology leadership across the whole product range. Accordingly, DOLL met with a positive response of visitors, customers, authorities and renowned decision makers from all over the world who confirmed the high quality of DOLL trailers. This also applied in the high number of orders that were directly placed on site.

The main focus in Heavy Haulage was definitely on functionality and customer benefit. Especially the 6-axle panther low-loader with a payload of approx. 70 t left a lasting impression on the specialist public. Its modular design facilitates the modification from a low-loader into a semi low-loader version within only a very short period of time. In this way, the trailer becomes very flexible in use and covers a wide range of transport requirements. Intensive discussions with visitors proved that this innovation is the perfect answer to the market’s actual needs.

Another highlight in Heavy Haulage was a 3-axle VARIO platform semi- trailer which was manufactured at DOLL’s Saxony site. The trailer is a versatile all-rounder meeting the end user’s individual needs and therefore a must-have for every heavy transport vehicle fleet.

The DOLL Timber Transport section demonstrated how to increase payloads with trailers produced as lightweight construction. For this reason, a 2-axle semi-trailer of the LOGO series with a very low dead weight of 6.7 t for payloads of more than 25 t was the prestigious exhibit adapted to future requirements of the industry.

The outstanding performance of DOLL at this year’s IAA Commercial Vehicles Fair underscores the company’s technology leadership in all business units and clearly proves the differentiation from the competition.
