Pooler-LMT appointed as UK agent for Enerpac Hydraulic Gantries

Industrial lifting specialist Pooler-LMT has been appointed the UK Agent for Enerpac Integrated Solutions including their range of Hydraulic Gantries, self propelled modular trailers and hydraulic strand jacking systems. Pooler-LMT joins a global network of Enerpac distributors, a selection of who are dedicated to the industrial heavy lifting sector.

Bob Pooler, Managing Director of Pooler-LMT has been providing specialist industrial heavy lifting solutions for over 30 years. The Shropshire-based company has a portfolio that includes the Versa-Lift range of mobile, heavy lift & carry machines and Lowry industrial lift trucks.

Enerpac is the global market leader for precise positioning of heavy loads. Its Hydraulic Gantries can literally work anywhere to position heavy loads in applications where traditional cranes will not fit due to overhead obstacles or are too costly to mobilise.

With capacities from 60 to 1200 tonnes, the gantry range includes:

  • Cost effective Super Lift (SL) Series
  • Heavy duty Super Boom Lift (SBL) Series
  • Mega Boom Lift (MBL) series

“Appealing to a wide industrial Lift & Shift audience, these modern hydraulic gantries combine European engineering with a refined design and the latest wireless technology. This gives the Enerpac range an edge over competing products.” comments Bob Pooler.

The Hydraulic Gantries have a number of key features to ensure optimum stability and safety:

  • Self-contained hydraulics and electrics
  • Self-propelled wheels or tank rollers
  • Handheld remote control system to give operators an unobstructed 360 degree view of their working area
  • Intelli-Lift wireless control system provides information about the stroke, lift and load per unit and automatically corrects any un-synchronised motion of individual units
  • Foldable boom on SBL1100, MBL500, and MBL600
  • A full range of supplementary equipment – header beams, lifting lugs, side shift, skid tracks.

Jeremy Stubbs, Integrated Solutions Sales Manager UK & Nordic for Enerpac Integrated Solutions said, “We are delighted to have Pooler-LMT as our agent. Bob’s many years of experience will enable us to connect to the local market for Enerpac’s hydraulic gantries, while providing heavy lifting contractors with a broader range of industrial heavy lifting solutions.”

HeavyTorque White Logo

It is with regret, that the HeavyTorque team have decided to take a stand based on an industry-wide ‘blind eye’ to the waste in the magazine and periodicals business.

HeavyTorque (#15, July 2018) was the final issue to grace the shop shelves, both on the High Street and across the travel network. As part of our onward strategy to adapt, HeavyTorque will now be distributed exclusively through controlled circulation and available through printed subscription.

Please note, this change will only affect newsstand purchasers. There will be no change for our loyal print subscribers.

Why the newsstand change? Quite simply, we can no longer (in good conscience) participate in a distribution programme that creates such an inherent waste of our precious natural resources – and money.

For those of you who have enjoyed HeavyTorque from the newsstand, we sincerely appreciate your business – and we would hope that you’ve enjoyed the magazine enough to consider a direct subscription?

Single Issues

If you prefer to purchase individual issues (one at a time), you will still have the ability to do so, both online (via the website), or by calling our offices +44 (0) 1572 3450872. Orders for single issues received before the pre-publication deadline will be mailed along with the subscribers.
