Strengthening Partnerships: Kässbohrer Hosts BLU Meeting in Goch

The National Association of Contractors in Agriculture and Forestry in North Rhine – Westphalia, one of the regional bodies under the BLU Bundesverband Lohnunternehmen e. V., has recently held its annual meeting in Kässbohrer plant in Goch. The meeting further cemented the profesional partnership between parties.

At the meeting, the BLU members had the chance to better know Kässbohrer’s product range, the widest one in the European semi-trailer industry and its aftersales service capabilities in Goch.

Kässbohrer’s main aftersales service and spare part depot for Europe in Goch is capable of providing the best possible quality service for semi-trailers, including the recurring inspections of vehicles according to ADR and Pressure Equipment Directive with TÜV, DEKRA, RDW, AIB – Vincotte, DNV, as well as brake testing, TÜV general inspections, safety testing, UVV and internal coating of tank vehicles.

During the meeting, the BLU members showed a particular interest in Kässbohrer’s K.STN 30, specifically designed for the safe and clean transportation of manure and animal waste.

From Goch to whole Europe

Founded on an area of 108,000 m2, Kässbohrer’s Goch facility stands at the crossroads of European route E 31 and E 35, connecting Amsterdam to Rome, therefore at the hearth of Germany’s export and intermodal transportation.

Goch Plant is the headquarters for European sales and marketing operations and main disposition center for Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke GmbH. Goch Plant is also the main after sales service and spare part depot for Europe.

HeavyTorque White Logo

It is with regret, that the HeavyTorque team have decided to take a stand based on an industry-wide ‘blind eye’ to the waste in the magazine and periodicals business.

HeavyTorque (#15, July 2018) was the final issue to grace the shop shelves, both on the High Street and across the travel network. As part of our onward strategy to adapt, HeavyTorque will now be distributed exclusively through controlled circulation and available through printed subscription.

Please note, this change will only affect newsstand purchasers. There will be no change for our loyal print subscribers.

Why the newsstand change? Quite simply, we can no longer (in good conscience) participate in a distribution programme that creates such an inherent waste of our precious natural resources – and money.

For those of you who have enjoyed HeavyTorque from the newsstand, we sincerely appreciate your business – and we would hope that you’ve enjoyed the magazine enough to consider a direct subscription?

Single Issues

If you prefer to purchase individual issues (one at a time), you will still have the ability to do so, both online (via the website), or by calling our offices +44 (0) 1572 3450872. Orders for single issues received before the pre-publication deadline will be mailed along with the subscribers.
