RUD Chains: the importance of top quality lashing points when transporting heavy loads

RUD Chains Lashing Capacity 3000 to 32,000 daN

RUD Chains is a leading manufacturer of lifting and lashing equipment that helps guarantee ultimate safety when lifting and lashing heavy loads. Their innovative Lashing Points help ensure maximum safety when transporting heavy machinery & loads, as well as reducing costs to potentially damaged goods. Most importantly the appropriate lashing equipment helps avoid accidents with loads moving and sliding when in transit.

It is a compulsory requirement for the responsible person of a vehicle to ensure that loads are secure with the appropriate lashing chains and applications. Ensuring that all loads are secured correctly will most importantly help avoid accidents, protect the people loading, unloading and driving the vehicle, road users and pedestrians.

RUD Lashing Points provide a lashing capacity from 3,000 to 32,000 daN and are typically used across a variety of sectors from lashing for MOD applications to heavy and abnormal loads for road haulage, load beds, cargo, offshore, rail, construction and plant to name a few.

One of RUD’s latest lashing points is the L-VLBG which offers the ultimate solution for safety in lashing heavy loads. The innovative lashing point rotates 360° in all directions and the suspension ring pivots 180°. The lashing point is clearly marked with the lashing capacity for all loading directions (LC marking in daN).

The LPW lashing point is designed to RUD VIP quality and offers up to 50% increased lashing capacity compared with the standard design. The welding block is marked with the permitted lashing capacity “LC” in daN. It offers a full loading capacity in all loading directions, a safety factor of 2:1 and is operational to temperatures as low as -20°.

For ultimate safety when transporting heavy and abnormal loads, RUD Lashing Points offer the perfect solution.
