Truck modification specialists, Terberg Techniek recently converted a Volvo 8×4 in to this 10×4 monster – for abnormal load operator Derks BV.

An original 9 tonne PAC90 Volvo steering pusher axle (which can also be lifted) was fitted to increase the legal maximum GVW by 8 tonnes to 44 tonnes (technical GVW 53 tonnes).

The vehicle, the first of two, was also fitted with Volvo’s new I-Shift gearbox with crawler gears. The fuel tank, air receivers and cabin protection were fitted by Van Winkoop in Ermelo.
