Fresh from the Christmas and New Year break, West of Scotland Heavy Haulage hot-footed the new year in with a neat load out of two bridge sections.

Uplifted from the fabrication workshops at Lanarkshire Welding near Wishaw, the loads made their way via the M74, M8, M77 and M78 before being skilfully guided along the A759/756 for delivery to Barrassie Beach.

The bridges will be assembled onto concrete supports and rolled into place at a later date.
