This 1:50 scale model celebrates racing royalty, Austrian race-car driver and three-time Formula 1 World Champion Andreas Nikolaus “Niki” Lauda. Born in Vienna, Niki Lauda competed from 1971-1979 and from 1982-1985, and at the time of his retirement from the sport, held the record for the most podium finishes. He remains the only driver to have won a World Driver’s Championship with both Ferrari and McLaren and won 25 Grand Prix across 13 seasons.
Inspired by this racing legend, and Ron Howard’s 2013 film Rush, IMC Models have announced the launch of this fantastic collector’s model, and HeavyTorque have one to GIVEAWAY!
This collectors model, due for release in early 2026, features striking red paint detailing and comes equipped with premium custom parts. These include a bull bar, protective window guards, extra-high sun visor, LED lightbar mounting and a smooth custom rear finish with unique hose bracket.
