Faymonville: Long haul demolition

Faymonville: Long haul demolition

This new hydraulically steered 7-axle MultiMAX low loader from Portuguese company Costa Almeida demolições has gathered some serious mileage over a short period of time. The customer specialises in demolition work and therefore needs to move his machinery on a regular basis.

Long trips are often on their agenda (Porto to Lisbon for example). On this picture, the specialists loaded a Komatsu PC490 demolition excavator with a weight of 75 tons and transported it from one job site to another within the Lisbon area, with a distance of around 80kms. The yellow painted semi-trailer scores each day thanks to its robustness and the numerous useful features. The double ramps allow easy access to the platform which is extendable from 12,000-20,500mm. The hydraulic gooseneck and suspension also offer a decisive advantage.
