Ultimate Stability and Strength with RUD VLBS Weld on Load Rings

Ultimate Stability and Strength with RUD VLBS Weld on Load Rings

In the lifting and handling industries the need for unrivalled quality and strength is paramount to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency are adhered to. RUD Chains, a leading manufacturer of lifting and lashing applications offer ample benefits with their VLBS weld on load rings.

RUD’s VLBS load rings are forged out of 100% crack detected high strength material CrNiMo with 2 patented inner supporting lugs. The optimised support shape at the suspension ring enables a strong support at loads 90° to the plane of the eye. A protected spring keeps the ring bracket in every required position, and also reduces vibration induced noise.

The VLBS load rings allow a full pivot of 180 degrees from the weld point, making lifting and lowering of loads an easy process, diminishing concern of tilting and uneven weight distribution of loads.

A major advantage of the VLBS load rings are that they offer a higher working load limit of up to 50% stronger than previous models giving customers a greater degree of confidence and accuracy in lifts, definitely a deciding factor when considering safety and accuracy of lifts.

The VLBS load rings are coated with a heat sensitive paint, unique to RUD’s VIP range of lifting equipment. The heat sensitive paint is an exceptional innovation, the load ring will change colour once it has reached temperatures above (200°C). The changes in colour allows you to monitor how much heat the load ring has been exposed to ensuring your load rings are safe and working effectively. Extreme heat can reduce the working load limit; therefore the heat sensitive paint enables you to make assured decisions on future lifts, a must have indicator for heat sensitive working environments.

RUD chains are a leading manufacturer of lifting and lashing applications providing solutions to a vast array of customers and industries from transport to wind power, RUD provide standard and tailored solutions to meet the demands and requirements of their customers.

HeavyTorque White Logo

It is with regret, that the HeavyTorque team have decided to take a stand based on an industry-wide ‘blind eye’ to the waste in the magazine and periodicals business.

HeavyTorque (#15, July 2018) was the final issue to grace the shop shelves, both on the High Street and across the travel network. As part of our onward strategy to adapt, HeavyTorque will now be distributed exclusively through controlled circulation and available through printed subscription.

Please note, this change will only affect newsstand purchasers. There will be no change for our loyal print subscribers.

Why the newsstand change? Quite simply, we can no longer (in good conscience) participate in a distribution programme that creates such an inherent waste of our precious natural resources – and money.

For those of you who have enjoyed HeavyTorque from the newsstand, we sincerely appreciate your business – and we would hope that you’ve enjoyed the magazine enough to consider a direct subscription?

Single Issues

If you prefer to purchase individual issues (one at a time), you will still have the ability to do so, both online (via the website), or by calling our offices +44 (0) 1572 3450872. Orders for single issues received before the pre-publication deadline will be mailed along with the subscribers.
