In a great new social media competition aimed at UK and Irish drivers and operators only, Volvo Trucks is inviting people to post a ‘selfie’ of themselves – with their Volvo truck – on the company’s @VolvoTrucksUK Twitter page, using the hashtag #VolvoTrucksSelfie.
The competition runs between 13th July and 30th September 2015 with one winner being selected from the entries received by the end of each month. The lucky winners must be 18+ and hold a full, valid C+E driving licence, tacho card and passport as they will get the chance to drive the Volvo truck range during an all-inclusive visit to Volvo Trucks’ Demo Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden.
“Volvo Trucks is very pro-active in social media and the @VolvoTrucksUK Twitter feed is jam-packed with lively conversations and great feedback about our trucks from a huge cross-section of drivers, operators and enthusiasts,” reports Volvo Group UK & Ireland Press Officer Nigel Hanwell. “We’ve had a fantastic response to the selfie competition so far and the chance to drive the Volvo range at the Demo Centre in Sweden is such a great prize. What’s not to like? We’re looking forward to meeting the winners and hosting them in Gothenburg.”
